Your photos should show 1) Fast Rhythm, 2) Slow Rhythm, 3) Irregular. Review the explanation from the book to ensure you are doing this correctly.

So...rhythm. Still not sure how this thing works. Hopefully I'm at least in the ballpark with these. First up we have an example (I hope) of slow rhythm. Fun fact, this was going to be my fast rhythm example, because of all the different squares the windows make. But allow me to defend my position. Horizontally, there is but one rectangle. It is simplistic. There is only one subject, the girl, in her environment. The slow rhythm shows her calmness; she is in her element.

For this second photo, I went for fast rhythm. With all of the different lines creating different spaces, one could argue that this was more of irregular space, but I feel that the regularity of the lines create more of just a fast rhythm.

Man, at this point I don't even know if I believe that rhythm is a true and living concept at all. However, I will complete. the assignment with faith. I'm calling this one an example of irregular rhythm. I think that it is mainly a slower rhythm, with some simple shapes and all, but the lines created by the power lines create some diverse shapes in the middle of the image, hence created some irregular space, and in turn, maybe a bit of tension?

I feel like I understand the general concept of rhythm, but replicating it and identifying it is still in the works. I think your first image is really strong. Some very nice rhythm created by the shapes and their uniformity. I can see your argument for slow. Your second image is definitely more intense with a lot more line and shape contrast and repetition. The third image slows things down. I think if you believe that every image has a natural rhythm to it then this one would be slower, or perhaps irregular.
